About Us
Our History
YouthBiz.Biz was born from a bold vision to make entrepreneurship training accessible, instructional, and empowering for young people everywhere. Its roots trace back to January 2005, when the award-winning “Millionaires in Training” (MiT) program launched in Raleigh, North Carolina. Designed for adolescent students ages 12–15 years old, MiT offered weekly in-person sessions on business principles, career planning, self-esteem, and financial literacy—culminating in the creation of mock companies and real-world product launches. The program was a collaboration between local nonprofits, city agencies, and community leaders, and it quickly became a model for youth entrepreneurship education.​
​At the heart of that early movement was Valerie “VK” Fields, founder and architect of the Millionaires in Training program; and also an entrepreneur, educator, lifelong learner and advocate for youth leadership and professional development – using the power of exposure and experiential learning to shape futures. Over the years, she expanded her work to include international business training for youth in eastern Africa, curriculum development for schools and nonprofits, and the creation of the Bizeebee book series (The Bizeebee Family Business and The Bizeebee Dream Castle)—colorful, character-driven stories that introduce basic business concepts to children.

In 2025, VK launched YouthBiz.Biz to bring this legacy into the digital age. The platform offers free AI-powered business simulations, downloadable business plan startup kits, educational resources, and interactive tools that help kids of all ages explore entrepreneurship at their own pace. Whether they’re launching a lemonade stand or designing a tech startup, young users learn to think critically, budget wisely, and lead confidently.
